One of the most important characteristics of Swásthya Yôga, the Ancient Yôga, is the choreographic progression of the techniques. The instructors structure their classes so that the student executes passages between every technique, creating a harmonious chain throughout the practice.
It resembles a dance, since the creator of Yôga, Shiva, was a dancer who was immortalized in mythology with the title of Natarája (Lord of the Dancers).
